Most shoppers don't buy the first time they land on a product page. They compare options, wait for payday, or postpone the decision. Without an easy way to bookmark what they like, many never return. A wishlist app gives them that bookmark: a heart button that saves the product to a list they can return to on any later visit.
For you, every saved item is a signal of intent. The better wishlist apps turn that signal into sales with reminder emails and price-drop and back-in-stock alerts, and their reports show which products people want most, which helps when you plan restocks and promotions.
We compared nine apps on guest saving, alerts and integrations, how their pricing scales and what merchants say about them in reviews. Here are the Top 9 Wishlist Shopify Apps for 2026.
App ratings, review counts and pricing below were verified on the Shopify App Store on 11 September 2026.
Disclosure: Joy Wishlist (#2) is built by the team behind Joy, which is part of Avada, the publisher of this guide (see our apps). We placed it second, right after the most-reviewed app on the list; the other apps are ordered by their number of Shopify App Store reviews. Joy Wishlist launched in July 2025 and has far fewer reviews than the others, so weigh its rating with that in mind. We link to every app, ours included, with plain, non-affiliate links.

How we chose and ranked these apps
We started from the Shopify App Store's Wishlists category and its search results for "wishlist", and shortlisted eight apps whose main job is the wishlist, plus Growave, a retention suite with a full wishlist built in. When we checked, all nine ranked in the top 25 organic results for that search. For each app we looked at:
- Wishlist basics: guest saving, sharing, adding saved items to the cart, and where the button can appear.
- Follow-up: whether the app sends reminder, price-drop and back-in-stock emails itself or hands the data to Klaviyo or another email tool.
- Pricing: the free plan, the entry price, and what the bill is metered on as your store grows.
- Track record: rating, number of reviews, the Built for Shopify badge, and recurring praise or complaints in recent reviews.
Swym Wishlist Plus, the most-reviewed app, comes first, and our own Joy Wishlist is second (see the disclosure above). The other seven are ordered by their number of App Store reviews, the clearest public sign of how many stores have used an app over time. You can read more about how we review apps.
Top 9 Wishlist Shopify Apps
Each review below covers what the app does best, its key features, pros and cons, every pricing plan and the kind of store it suits.
1. Swym Wishlist Plus
Rating: 4.7/5 (1,467 reviews) · Developer: Swym Corporation · Pricing: From $29.99/month, 30-day free trial, no free plan
Swym Wishlist Plus lets shoppers save products to one or more wishlists, even as guests, and pick up where they left off on a later visit. What sets it apart is how far the wishlist data travels: staff can see a customer's wishlist in Shopify POS, a Customer Accounts extension shows saved items and browsing activity in the shopper's account, and the Pro plan sends wishlist activity to Klaviyo, Attentive, Tapcart and Omnisend (Swym's custom-priced Enterprise plan adds email platforms such as Listrak and Bloomreach). It has been on the Shopify App Store since 2016 and carries the Built for Shopify badge.
Key features
- Multiple and guest wishlists: Shoppers can sort products into several wishlists and save items without logging in.
- Wishlist sharing: Shoppers can share a wishlist by email, SMS, social media or a direct link.
- Automated reminders and alerts: The app sends automated wishlist reminders plus price-drop and back-in-stock alerts, and all three are included on the Starter plan.
- Shopify POS and customer accounts: Sales staff can look up a customer's wishlist in Shopify POS, and the Customer Accounts extension shows wishlists and browsing activity on the shopper's account page.
- Customization options: You can adjust the wishlist through Shopify Sidekick with plain-language prompts, and the Premium plan adds REST API access, a JavaScript SDK and custom data models.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Support is the most common theme in recent reviews: merchants describe fast, friendly replies and say the team made theme or code tweaks for them.
- Automated reminders and price-drop and back-in-stock alerts come with the cheapest plan, and one reviewer says many of its customers rely on the back-in-stock alerts to buy products that sell out quickly.
- It has a long track record: 4.7/5 from 1,467 reviews, and several recent reviews come from stores that have used it for three to six years.
- The app's admin is available in seven languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Polish), and the listing tags multi-language support for the storefront.
Cons:
- There is no free plan, and every tier caps monthly wishlist actions (3,000 on Starter). Swym's pricing page also caps lifetime stored actions (15,000 on Starter) and removes the oldest data first once you reach it. One 1-star reviewer says a "Smart Save" setting that was on by default used up their 500-action free-plan allowance before the store launched, and they could not move back to a free plan afterward.
- The Klaviyo, Attentive, Tapcart and Omnisend integrations need Pro ($59.99/month), REST API and JavaScript SDK access needs Premium ($99.99/month), and Swym puts Listrak, Bloomreach, Sailthru, dotDigital and similar platforms on the custom-priced Enterprise plan.
- Some recent reviews report glitches. A 1-star reviewer (August 2026) says the wishlist button does not show for some customers across browsers and on mobile, that wishlist data takes hours or days to update, and that support blamed cookie settings. Other reviewers mention images missing from wishlist notifications and text that would not translate into Japanese; support resolved both, and the Japanese issue came from running an outdated app version.
Pricing
- Starter ($29.99/month or $299.99/year): 3,000 wishlist actions/month (15,000 lifetime); includes adding and viewing wishlists, Collections and Quick View, social sharing, email opt-in capture, automated reminders, and price-drop and stock alerts.
- Pro ($59.99/month or $599.99/year): 10,000 wishlist actions/month (50,000 lifetime); adds Meta ads retargeting, customer segments, wishlist summary alerts, Klaviyo, Attentive, Tapcart and Omnisend integrations, and email plus chat support.
- Premium ($99.99/month or $999.99/year): 25,000 wishlist actions/month (125,000 lifetime); adds REST API access, a JavaScript SDK, custom data models, advanced configuration, and 24/5 support with under-4-hour responses.
- Enterprise (custom pricing, listed on Swym's site rather than the Shopify listing): 100,000+ wishlist actions/month for Shopify Plus brands; adds enterprise email platform integrations, custom webhooks, a dedicated customer support manager, and 24/7 support with under-2-hour responses.
- Free trial: 30 days on Starter, Pro and Premium. Annual billing saves 17%.
Best for: Established stores that already run Klaviyo, Attentive or Omnisend, or sell in person through Shopify POS, and want wishlist activity to feed their email, SMS and in-store sales, starting on the $59.99/month Pro plan for those integrations.
2. Joy Wishlist
Disclosure: Joy Wishlist is built by the team behind Joy, part of Avada. It is placed second by editorial choice, not by review count.
Rating: 5.0/5 (17 reviews) · Developer: Joy Loyalty Program & Rewards · Pricing: Free, no paid plans listed
Joy Wishlist is a free wishlist app from the team behind Joy Loyalty, launched on July 21, 2025 and carrying the Built for Shopify badge. Its strongest area is how it handles shoppers who aren't logged in: with the guest wishlist setting turned on, they can save products without an account, an optional prompt asks for their email and sends a link that restores the list on another device, and their saved items merge into their account wishlist when they sign in. It comes from the same team as Joy Loyalty and shows up in Joy Loyalty's Unified Widget, though that widget can also display and sync Swym Wishlist Plus and Swish (Wishlist King) wishlists, so Joy Loyalty merchants already on one of those don't need to switch.
Key features
- Guest wishlist with email capture: An optional setting lets shoppers save products without an account (items are stored on their device), and a "Save your wishlist" popup can collect their email and send a link to restore the list on another device.
- Add to cart from the wishlist: Shoppers can move saved items into the cart from the wishlist page or from a Wishlist tab inside the cart drawer, as long as your theme has a cart drawer.
- Save for later prompt: When a shopper removes an item from the cart drawer or cart page, a prompt offers to save it to their wishlist instead of losing it.
- Design controls: You can pick a Heart, Star or Flag icon or upload your own, show the wishlist as a full page, drawer or popup, and set text, button and background colors.
- Analytics and CSV export: The dashboard tracks total items added, unique customers and conversion rate, the customer list shows each shopper's items added, items paid and revenue, and you can export wishlist customers with the products they saved as a CSV for campaigns in Klaviyo, Omnisend, Mailchimp or Shopify Email.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- It's free, and the listing shows no paid plans and no trial clock.
- Guest saving plus the email capture prompt turns anonymous wishlist users into contacts you can reach later.
- The Wishlist tab in the cart drawer and the Save for later prompt keep saved items in view right where shoppers decide to buy or drop a product.
- All 17 reviews praise the support team, and 6 describe staff customizing the app or changing a feature on request.
Cons:
- It's a young app with 17 reviews, 11 of them written within four days of installing, so they speak to support more than long-term results; one reviewer in June 2026 also mentioned some bugs and missing settings in the UI.
- There is no native Klaviyo or email platform integration and no automated back-in-stock or price-drop alerts: "Works with" lists only Shopify Admin, the help center marks email integrations as coming, and for now you export a CSV and run those campaigns in your email tool.
- Each shopper gets a single wishlist, with no multiple or named lists, which Swym Wishlist Plus, Swish, Growave, Mst: Wishlist Prime and Wishlist Guru's Premium plan offer.
- The app's admin is available in 6 languages (English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish), and the listing has no multi-language feature tag, so if you sell in several languages, check how the button and wishlist page text will be translated before you install.
Pricing
- Free (free): the listing's pricing reads only "Free", with no plan tiers, usage limits or paid add-ons shown.
- Free trial: none listed, since there is no paid plan.
Best for: Stores that want a free wishlist with guest saving and a cart-drawer tab and are fine running back-in-stock or price-drop emails from a CSV export, especially Joy Loyalty merchants who don't already use Swym Wishlist Plus or Swish.
3. Growave: Loyalty & Wishlist
Rating: 4.8/5 (1,293 reviews) · Developer: Growave · Pricing: Free plan (200 orders/month); paid plans from $15/month; 14-day free trial
Growave: Loyalty & Wishlist is a retention app that puts a wishlist, loyalty program, referrals, VIP tiers, and product reviews in one install. The main difference from a wishlist-only app is that loyalty points, wishlist, and product reviews all come on the free plan, which covers up to 200 orders a month. That makes it a good fit if you'd rather run one app than three.
Key features
- Wishlist list types: Shoppers can use a guest wishlist, favorites, save for later, or multiple lists, and the app also supports gift, online, and in-store registries.
- Sharing and alerts: Customers can share lists by email, social, or link, the wishlist feature list includes price, stock, and purchase alerts, and back-in-stock wishlist emails come with the Growth plan.
- Loyalty points and VIP tiers: The free plan includes a points program, while VIP tiers and store credit start on Growth ($199/month), and the listing names POS, Apple Wallet, and Google Wallet support.
- Referral program: Referrals with fraud protection start on the Entry plan ($15/month).
- Product reviews and UGC: The free plan includes product reviews, Entry adds a review request email series, and Growth adds Google Shopping reviews and Instagram UGC.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Loyalty points, wishlist, and product reviews are all on the free plan, so you can test all three before paying.
- The wishlist options go beyond a heart button, with guest lists, multiple lists, sharing, add to cart from the list, and conversion analytics.
- It works with Shopify POS, Flow, Checkout, and customer accounts, plus Klaviyo, Omnisend, Attentive, Postscript, Gorgias, and Recharge, and it has the Built for Shopify badge. POS and Flow start on Entry, which allows one integration; checkout extensions and unlimited integrations need Plus.
- Fast support and onboarding are the most common praise in recent reviews, and several reviewers say the team handled their custom styling requests.
Cons:
- The price gap between plans is large: VIP tiers, full loyalty page customization, and back-in-stock wishlist emails need Growth at $199/month, and every paid plan charges per 100 orders above its limit. Long-time users also complain about past price hikes (one said "the $9 sub is now a $49 monthly sub," reflecting an earlier plan lineup; current prices are listed below).
- The built-in styling options are limited, so bigger design changes often go through support. Older reviews also say theme updates or leftover app code broke storefront elements.
- Low-star reviews report bugs, including redeemed coupons that weren't deactivated, free-product rewards failing in non-base markets, and poor translations.
Pricing
- Free ($0): 200 orders/month; includes a loyalty points program, wishlist, product reviews, and data imports/exports, with Growave branding and 48-hour email support.
- Entry ($15/month): 500 orders/month, plus $20 per 100 extra orders; adds advanced rewards, referrals with fraud protection, nudges, review request emails, Shopify POS and Flow, one integration (such as Klaviyo), customizable emails, and 24/7 email support.
- Growth ($199/month): 1,500 orders/month, plus $15 per 100 extra orders; adds VIP tiers, store credit, full loyalty page customization, points expiration, gift cards, Google Shopping reviews, Instagram UGC, back-in-stock wishlist emails, and 24/7 email and chat support.
- Plus ($499/month): 3,000 orders/month, plus $10 per 100 extra orders; adds checkout extensions, a headless API and SDK, custom loyalty page design, B2B and unlimited integrations, a customer success manager, and 24/7 email, live chat, and phone support.
- Free trial: 14 days on every paid plan. Charges are billed in USD every 30 days.
Best for: Stores with up to 200 orders a month that want a wishlist, points program, and product reviews in one free app, with room to add referrals and VIP tiers later.
4. Wishlist Hero
Rating: 4.7/5 (410 reviews) · Developer: Revamp · Pricing: Free plan; paid plans $4–$29/month with a 14-day free trial
Wishlist Hero by Revamp adds a wishlist button to product pages, collection pages, and quick views, and shoppers can save items as guests without logging in. Its main draw is automated reminder emails: the app emails shoppers when a wishlisted product runs low on stock or goes on sale, and those reminders start on the $4/month Silver plan. The Free plan covers up to 500 wishlist additions a month, so you can try it before you pay anything.
Key features
- Low-stock and on-sale reminders: Shoppers get an email when a product on their wishlist has low stock or a price drop (Silver plan and above).
- Guest wishlists: Shoppers can add items from product, collection, and quick-view pages without an account, and the app installs automatically on popular Shopify themes.
- Wishlist sharing: Shoppers can share their wishlist by email or on social media such as Facebook, on every plan including Free.
- Activity tracking: Reports show wishlisted products, customers, and their activity, and paid plans add Klaviyo onsite tracking plus GA4, Facebook, and TikTok pixels.
- Integrations and APIs: Silver adds a JavaScript API, and Gold Plus adds SendGrid, Klaviyo, and Omnisend integration plus a REST API.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- The Free plan includes 500 wishlist additions a month, sharing, detailed reports, and multi-currency and multi-language support, and one July 2026 reviewer said the free version is more than enough for a store's early stage.
- Low-stock and on-sale reminder emails come with the $4/month Silver plan, so you don't need Gold Plus or an email-platform integration to send them.
- Support is hands-on: 15 of the 30 newest reviews name the same support agent, and merchants describe help placing the icon on collection pages, styling the header icon, and fixing the display after theme updates.
Cons:
- Some customization costs extra or isn't possible: a 1-star reviewer in April 2026 was asked to pay $25 to replace the heart icon, and a 2-star reviewer in April 2026 couldn't add the wishlist link to the user profile or menu.
- A July 2026 review says the button sometimes disappears from collection pages until the app is reinstalled, and a June 2026 review reports losing admin access to customer wishlist data; the developer's replies admit some merchant messages went unanswered or landed in its spam filter.
- Direct SendGrid, Klaviyo, and Omnisend integration and the REST API require Gold Plus ($17/month); on Silver, Klaviyo is listed only as onsite pixel tracking.
Pricing
- Free (free): Up to 500 wishlist additions/month, code-free setup, sharing by email and social media, detailed reports, and multiple currencies and languages.
- Silver ($4/month): Up to 1,000 wishlist additions/month; adds custom branding, Klaviyo, GA4, Facebook, and TikTok pixel tracking, low-stock and on-sale email reminders, and a JavaScript API.
- Gold Plus ($17/month): Up to 5,000 wishlist additions/month; adds SendGrid, Klaviyo, and Omnisend integration and a REST API.
- Platinum ($29/month): Up to 10,000 wishlist additions/month with everything in Gold Plus; contact the developer if you need more volume.
- Free trial: 14 days on Silver, Gold Plus, and Platinum.
Best for: Small stores that want to email shoppers about price drops and low stock on wishlisted items for $4/month, and let guests save products without creating an account.
5. Swish (Wishlist King)
Rating: 4.9/5 (288 reviews) · Developer: Swish · Pricing: From $19/month, 30-day free trial, no free plan
Swish (Wishlist King) is the wishlist app formerly called Wishlist King, listed on the Shopify App Store since 2015 and now carrying the Built for Shopify badge. What sets it apart is service: Swish sets up and customizes the wishlist to match your theme for free on every plan, and that hands-on support is the most common theme in recent reviews. It also sends wishlist events to Klaviyo so you can build price-drop and back-in-stock emails, and its admin analytics show how often each product is wishlisted.
Key features
- Wishlist across the shopping journey: Shoppers can save items from product pages, move cart items to a wishlist with Save for later, and use a guest wishlist without logging in.
- Multiple lists and sharing: Customers can keep more than one list and share it by email, on social media or with a link.
- Klaviyo wishlist alerts: Swish sends back-in-stock, low-in-stock and price-drop events to Klaviyo to trigger your email flows, and it passes a native add-to-wishlist event to GA4 and Meta Pixel.
- Free setup and customization: The Swish team installs and styles the wishlist for you, with custom branding, layouts, icons and multi-language support.
- Analytics and list curation: Conversion analytics sit alongside tools to view, edit and curate customer lists inside your Shopify admin, and you can import and export list data.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Free setup and customization come with every plan, and a December 2025 reviewer says Swish had their store set up overnight.
- All plans include every feature, unlimited wishlists and saved items. On Basic, Shopify and Advanced, sessions are unlimited too.
- The Klaviyo, GA4 and Meta integrations are included on every plan, and the app also works with Hydrogen, Markets and Tapcart.
- Only 4 of 288 reviews are 3 stars or lower, and the newest of those dates from 2024.
Cons:
- There is no free plan. The price follows your Shopify plan, from $19/month on Basic up to $99/month on Plus, while alternatives such as Wishlist Hero offer a free plan.
- Price-drop and back-in-stock emails depend on Klaviyo, because Swish's docs build them as Klaviyo flows triggered by Swish events, and an August 2026 reviewer found the Klaviyo setup tricky enough to ask support for help.
- The wishlist opens on a dedicated page rather than a slide-out drawer, which one February 2026 reviewer asked for.
Pricing
- Basic Shopify ($19/month or $190/year): For stores on the Shopify Basic plan. It includes all features, free setup and onboarding, unlimited wishlists and saved items, and unlimited sessions.
- Shopify ($29/month or $290/year): For stores on the Shopify plan, with the same package as Basic Shopify.
- Advanced Shopify ($49/month or $490/year): For stores on Shopify Advanced, with the same package as Basic Shopify.
- Shopify Plus ($99/month or $990/year): Up to 100k monthly site sessions. It adds free white-glove onboarding, a dedicated account manager and support for Hydrogen and headless stacks.
- Free trial: 30 days on every plan. Annual billing saves 17%, and all charges are billed in USD.
Best for: Shopify brands that want the vendor to build a theme-matched wishlist for free and send Klaviyo-driven price-drop and back-in-stock emails, including Plus stores running Hydrogen or headless setups.
6. SE Wishlist Engine
Rating: 4.8/5 (274 reviews) · Developer: Script Engine · Pricing: Free plan; paid plans from $7.99/month with a 5-day free trial
SE Wishlist Engine (formerly Wishlist Engine) adds a wishlist button, a wishlist page and popup, and guest wishlists, so shoppers can save products without logging in. What sets it apart is hands-on help: the developer advertises migration from other wishlist apps, and reviewers say the team imported their old wishlists from CSV files and set up wishlist buttons for them. Paid plans turn saved items into follow-up emails, with reminder, low-stock, price-drop and restock alerts starting on the Advanced plan.
Key features
- Guest wishlist: Shoppers can save several products at a time without creating an account or logging in.
- Wishlist page, popup and sharing: The Free plan already includes a wishlist page and popup, social sharing, a custom button and icon, and variant change detection on the product page.
- Automated wishlist emails: On the Advanced and Premium plans, the app sends wishlist reminder, low-stock, price-drop and restock alerts, and you can edit each email's subject, message, button text and send delay (the Advanced plan also lists unlimited emails).
- Wishlist insights: Reports show which products are saved most and who saved them, with each shopper's name, email and number of saved items (basic insights on Free and Basic, advanced insights on Advanced and Premium).
- Import, export and integrations: Advanced and Premium can import and export wishlists, the Advanced plan lists Facebook Pixel and Klaviyo integration, and the listing also names Shopify Flow and PageFly as compatible.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Support does the setup for you: 16 of the 24 written reviews among the 30 most recent mention fast or prompt replies, and several say the team installed or customized their wishlist buttons, including an inline button.
- You can bring wishlists over from your old app: reviewers report CSV imports of existing wishlists, and one calls it one of the few apps that help with this.
- Recent reviews say it works on custom and Shopify 2.0 themes, and one store reports more than 30,000 customers using its wishlists.
- You can start free, and every paid plan offers annual billing that saves 17%.
Cons:
- The Free plan stops at 100 wishlist items; one store says its free version lasted 15 minutes after launch before it "reached 100" and had to move to a paid plan.
- Stock and price-drop alerts, wishlist import/export and Klaviyo need the $14.99/month Advanced plan, while multi-language and multi-currency support and multi-language email templates need the $21.99/month Premium plan; the app's own interface is English-only.
- Setting it up yourself can be hard: reviewers mention early setup and advanced-customization issues that support had to fix, and a March 2025 review says orders placed from a wishlist add extra line items to the packing list, which support said can't be removed because they track analytics.
Pricing
- Free Plan (free): Up to 100 wishlist items, button and icon customization, variant change detection on the product page, wishlist page and popup, social sharing and basic insights.
- Basic Plan ($7.99/month or $79.99/year): Unlimited wishlist items, custom button and icon, social sharing, hidden branding, wishlist page and popup, and basic insights.
- Advanced Plan ($14.99/month or $149.99/year): Unlimited wishlist items plus wishlist reminder and low-stock alerts, price-drop and restock alerts, product recommendations, wishlist import/export, customizable unlimited emails, Facebook Pixel and Klaviyo integration, and advanced insights.
- Premium Plan ($21.99/month or $219.99/year): Unlimited wishlist items, reminder, low-stock, price-drop and restock alerts, product recommendations, import/export and advanced insights, plus multi-language and multi-currency support and multi-language email templates.
- Free trial: 5 days on the Basic, Advanced and Premium plans; annual billing saves 17% on each.
Best for: Stores switching from another wishlist app or running a custom theme that want the developer to handle setup and migration, and that will pay $14.99/month for restock and price-drop emails.
7. Wishlist ‑ Wishify
Rating: 4.9/5 (218 reviews) · Developer: Zooomy · Pricing: Free plan; paid plans $5.99–$29.99/month with a 7-day free trial
Wishlist ‑ Wishify adds a wishlist button and a wishlist page to your store, and it has a free plan for up to 100 wishlist items a month. What sets it apart is hands-on help: the Free plan includes free app setup, and reviewers often say Zooomy's team installed the app and wrote custom code to fit their theme. It carries the Built for Shopify badge and has been on the App Store since 2018.
Key features
- Customizable wishlist button: Change the button's color and text on the Free plan, and add custom app colors and a heart icon in the header from the Professional plan.
- Guest wishlist: Shoppers can save products without logging in, starting on the Professional plan.
- Wishlist sharing: Customers can share their list by email, Facebook, WhatsApp or X (Twitter) on the Professional plan and up.
- Collection-page hearts and add to cart: The Professional plan adds a wishlist widget to collection pages, and shoppers can add saved items to the cart straight from their wishlist.
- Reminder emails, reports and export: The Advanced plan sends automatic wishlist reminder emails, the Premium plan adds full reports, and every paid plan can export wishlist data.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Support is the main theme in reviews: 28 of the 30 newest reviews praise the support team or developer help, and one merchant had the app running in under 20 minutes.
- The Free plan is usable on its own, with 100 wishlist items a month, button color and text changes, a wishlist page in the main menu and free setup.
- Sharing, guest wishlist, the collection-page widget and data export all come with the $5.99/month Professional plan.
- It holds a 4.9/5 rating from 218 reviews, 214 of them five stars.
Cons:
- Setting it up yourself can be tricky: several reviewers say the button didn't show right after install or needed code changes on collection pages until support fixed it ("A little harder to do it yourself," June 2026).
- Automatic wishlist reminder emails are only on the top $29.99/month Advanced plan.
- Reviews come in slowly, about one a month since 2024, so there is less recent feedback than for the bigger apps on this list.
Pricing
- Free Plan (Free): Up to 100 wishlist items/month, with button color and text customization, free app setup and a wishlist page in the main menu.
- Professional Plan ($5.99/month): 1,000 wishlist items/month, and adds wishlist sharing, a collection-page widget, guest wishlist, data export, a header heart icon and custom app colors.
- Premium Plan ($12.99/month): Up to 3,000 wishlist items/month, with everything in Professional plus full reports.
- Advanced Plan ($29.99/month): Up to 10,000 wishlist items/month, with everything in Professional plus automatic wishlist reminder emails.
- Free trial: 7 days on every paid plan. Charges are billed in USD every 30 days.
Best for: Small stores that want a free or low-cost wishlist and would rather have the developer install it and adjust it for their theme than set it up themselves.
8. Mst: Wishlist Prime
Rating: 4.7/5 (158 reviews) · Developer: Mascot Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd · Pricing: $2/month, 14-day free trial
Mst: Wishlist Prime (formerly listed as iWish: Wishlist) is a wishlist app from Mascot Software Technologies that has been on the Shopify App Store since August 5, 2014. The main reason to pick it is the price: one $2/month plan covers every feature, including multiple and guest wishlists and price-drop and back-in-stock alert flows, with no cap on items or customers. Recent reviewers also say the support team installed the app and matched it to their theme for them.
Key features
- Multiple and guest wishlists: Customers can keep several wishlists, guests can save products without an account, and there is no limit on the number of items or customers.
- Price-drop and back-in-stock alerts: The listing offers alert flows by email, SMS and push when saved products drop in price or come back in stock, and the help docs show wishlist customers being exported to Klaviyo to run those flows.
- Editable wishlist page: You can restyle the My Wishlist page through its Liquid template, HTML and CSS, and show the wishlist as a drawer or a full page.
- Wishlist sharing: Shoppers can share a wishlist by email, on social media or with a share link.
- Integrations and API: The listing names Klaviyo, PushOwl/Brevo, Shopify Flow and the Apploy mobile app builder as integrations, and the app offers an API with headless theme support.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- One $2/month plan includes every feature with no item or customer limits, and reviewers describe it as "affordable with great service" and "cheap and does what it says it will."
- Support is the main topic in recent reviews: 28 of the 29 newest reviews with text praise it, and 10 of the newest 30 describe the team setting up the app, customizing it to match the store or connecting Shopify Flow.
- The listing says the storefront supports multiple languages and currencies, and a November 2025 reviewer says it handled their languages automatically, which suits international stores.
Cons:
- Setup often runs through the developer: reviews from 2019 and 2021 say only the developer could install it, and a 4-star review from October 2025 asks for a smoother setup process and translations.
- Older low ratings tell a different support story: a January 2025 reviewer says the app still wasn't installed properly after a week, a February 2025 reviewer reports an app error and two weeks of chasing support, and an April 2023 crash left customers unable to reach their wishlists. 10 of the 158 ratings (6%) are 1 star.
- The app's admin interface is available in English only.
Pricing
- Monthly ($2/month): one fixed price for all features, with no limit on wishlist items or customers; billed in USD every 30 days.
- Free trial: 14 days. There is no free plan.
Best for: Stores on a tight budget that want multiple and guest wishlists plus price-drop and back-in-stock alert flows for $2 a month, and don't mind having the developer's team handle theme setup.
9. Wishlist Guru: Favorites List
Rating: 4.8/5 (97 reviews) · Developer: Webframez · Pricing: Free plan (300 wishlist items/month); paid plans from $5.99/month; 10-day free trial
Wishlist Guru: Favorites List is a wishlist app from Webframez, on the Shopify App Store since May 2024. It pairs a wishlist with price-drop, back-in-stock and low-stock alerts, plus B2B price hiding. Hands-on setup help from the developer is the most common theme in its reviews.
Key features
- Wishlist buttons and guest lists: Guest wishlist, URL sharing, move to cart, analytics, and customization for the button, header and floating icon. Icons on collection pages and product cards start on Basic.
- Price and stock alerts: Automated price-drop, back-in-stock and low-stock emails, with shoppers picking their preferred language for alerts.
- B2B controls: Show or hide prices and the add-to-cart button, and require customers to log in before they save items.
- Multiple lists and integrations: Multiple wishlists, multi-variant support, social sharing, CSV import, SMTP, Klaviyo, Shopify Flow, a REST API and JS events.
- Social counter and reminders: Social counter on product and collection pages, a detailed user report, drawer mode, monthly reminder emails and an email opt-out.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Four reviewers say it costs less than other wishlist apps, and the paid tiers start low: branding removal and custom JS/CSS cost $5.99/month.
- Every plan is free on development stores, so agencies and theme developers can build and test the full setup before a client pays.
- Support is the standout: 27 of the 30 newest reviews praise it. Several say the team did the setup work for them, such as installing the wishlist on two stores, customizing the layout or adding collection-page icons. One says it was "ALL FREE OF CHARGE."
- Works with Boost AI Search & Filter, Sparq Product Filter & Search and PageFly, alongside Klaviyo and Shopify Flow.
Cons:
- The free plan stops at 300 wishlist items a month, and the features most stores actually want sit on higher tiers. Alerts and B2B price hiding need Pro; multiple wishlists, multi-variant support, Klaviyo, Shopify Flow and the REST API need Premium. Email sends cap at 2,000 a month on Pro and 5,000 on Premium.
- Speed comes up in reviews. A 4-star review from a store 9 months in (May 2026) says "The app is really slow. Loads forever," though support responded quickly. Two 5-star reviewers mention occasional crashes, slow loading or items that "glitch from time to time."
- Most reviews were written early: 76 of 97 come from stores using the app about a month or less, and they mostly describe setup help. There is little evidence about long-term performance.
Pricing
- Free Forever (free): Up to 300 wishlist items a month. It includes 1-click setup, a guest wishlist, button, header and floating-icon customization, editable translations, URL-based sharing, move to cart, analytics and notification customization.
- Basic ($5.99/month or $59.99/year): 2,000 wishlist items a month. It adds icons on collection pages and product cards, a detailed user report, drawer mode, a social counter, monthly reminder emails, custom email templates, an email opt-out, custom JS/CSS and branding removal.
- Pro ($12.99/month or $129.99/year): 5,000 wishlist items and up to 2,000 emails a month. It adds price-drop, back-in-stock and low-stock alerts, B2B price and add-to-cart hiding, login-required wishlists, two multi-language options and multi-language emails with user preferences.
- Premium ($19.99/month or $199.99/year): Unlimited wishlist and 5,000 emails a month. It adds multiple wishlists, multi-variant support, Klaviyo, email reports, social sharing, CSV import, SMTP, product options app support, Shopify Flow, a REST API and JS events.
- Free trial: 10 days on Basic, Pro and Premium. Annual billing saves 17%, every plan is free on development stores, and charges are billed in USD every 30 days.
Best for: Stores that want price-drop and stock alerts, or B2B price hiding, for $12.99/month on the Pro plan. Bilingual and B2B shops get the most out of the Pro tier. Expect to lean on the developer for setup.
How to choose the right Shopify wishlist app
Every app on this list puts a heart button on your products, so the real differences are who can use it, what happens after someone saves an item, and what the bill looks like once your store gets busy.
Check whether guests can save without logging in
During the trial, open your store in a private browser window and tap the wishlist button: if it asks for a login, shoppers have to create an account just to bookmark a product. Most apps here allow guest saving, but check the plan, because Wishlist ‑ Wishify only adds guest wishlists on its $5.99/month Professional plan, while Wishlist Guru includes them on its free plan. With guest wishlist switched on, Joy Wishlist stores a guest's items on their device and merges them into the account wishlist when they sign in. If you also turn on its optional email capture prompt, guests who leave their address get a link that restores the list on another device. B2B stores that want the opposite can require a login on Wishlist Guru's $12.99/month Pro plan.
Decide who sends the price-drop and back-in-stock emails
Some apps include the reminder emails themselves: Wishlist Hero adds low-stock and on-sale email reminders on its $4/month Silver plan, and Swym Wishlist Plus includes price-drop and stock alerts on its $29.99/month Starter plan. If your email flows already live in Klaviyo, look at the tier that connects it, which is $2/month on Mst: Wishlist Prime (its only plan), $14.99 on SE Wishlist Engine, $15 on Growave (its Entry plan includes one integration, such as Klaviyo), $17 on Wishlist Hero, $19 on Swish (Wishlist King), $19.99 on Wishlist Guru and $59.99 on Swym. Joy Wishlist has no built-in alerts or email integration; you export wishlist customers and their saved products as a CSV and build the campaign in Klaviyo, Omnisend, Mailchimp or Shopify Email yourself.
Find out what the price is metered on
Entry prices are easy to compare, but each app counts something different, so the bill grows in different ways as traffic picks up. Swym counts wishlist actions (3,000 a month on the $29.99 Starter plan), Wishlist Hero and Wishify count items saved (1,000 a month on their $4 and $5.99 plans), Growave counts store orders (500 on the $15 Entry plan, then $20 for every extra 100), and Swish charges by your Shopify plan rather than by wishlist activity, from $19/month on Basic Shopify to $99 on Shopify Plus (sessions are unlimited on every plan except Plus, which covers up to 100k monthly site sessions). Estimate a busy month in the app's own unit before you commit: one SE Wishlist Engine reviewer says the free plan, capped at 100 wishlist items, "lasted for 15 minutes." If you'd rather not count at all, Mst: Wishlist Prime charges a flat $2/month with no limit on items or customers, and Joy Wishlist is free.
Test it on your own theme, including collection pages
Many critical reviews of these apps are about display, not features: a button that disappears from collection pages (Wishlist Hero) or a heart icon that shows up without a working button (Swym). During the trial, check the product page, collection grid, cart drawer and mobile, and ask who fixes placement; Swish includes free setup and customization on every plan, while one Wishlist Hero reviewer was asked to pay $25 to swap the heart icon. The Built for Shopify badge, which Shopify gives to apps that meet its performance and design requirements, is a quick filter: Swym, Joy Wishlist, Growave, Swish, SE Wishlist Engine and Wishify have it, while Wishlist Hero, Mst: Wishlist Prime and Wishlist Guru don't.
Choose between a standalone wishlist and a retention suite
A suite such as Growave: Loyalty & Wishlist makes sense if you'll also use its loyalty, reviews and referral tools, but check which tier holds the wishlist feature you actually want. Its free plan covers loyalty points, a wishlist and product reviews for up to 200 orders a month, yet back-in-stock wishlist emails only come with the $199/month Growth plan, while SE Wishlist Engine includes price-drop and restock alerts at $14.99/month. Joy Wishlist takes the standalone route: it's free, it's made by the developer of Joy Loyalty, and three of its reviewers say they run the two apps together.
Which wishlist app should you pick?
If you only read one section, make it this one:
- You want the most proven option and already use Klaviyo, Attentive or Shopify POS: Swym Wishlist Plus.
- You want a wishlist that's entirely free, with no paid plans, or you already run Joy Loyalty: Joy Wishlist (our app).
- You also need loyalty points and product reviews: Growave: Loyalty & Wishlist, free for up to 200 orders a month.
- You want low-stock and on-sale reminder emails at the lowest price: Wishlist Hero, from $4/month.
- You want the vendor to set everything up, or you run Shopify Plus or a headless store: Swish (Wishlist King).
- You are moving over from another wishlist app: SE Wishlist Engine, whose team imports existing wishlists.
- You want a small free plan with free setup: Wishlist ‑ Wishify.
- You want one flat price with no usage limits: Mst: Wishlist Prime, at $2/month.
- You sell B2B and need price hiding plus stock alerts on a budget: Wishlist Guru, whose Pro plan adds both for $12.99/month.
Whichever you choose, install it on a trial first, test the button on your product pages, collection grid, cart and mobile, and compare your storefront speed before and after.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a wishlist app do on Shopify?
It adds a save button, usually a heart icon, to your product and collection pages, plus a page where shoppers can see everything they saved. Most apps also let shoppers share their list, and many use the saved items to send reminder, price-drop or back-in-stock emails that bring shoppers back to buy.
Are there free Shopify wishlist apps?
Yes. Joy Wishlist is free, with no paid plans. Wishlist Hero (500 wishlist additions a month), Wishlist Guru (300 wishlist items a month), Growave (up to 200 store orders a month), Wishlist ‑ Wishify (100 wishlist items a month) and SE Wishlist Engine (100 wishlist items) have free plans with limits. Swym Wishlist Plus and Swish have no free plan, and Mst: Wishlist Prime costs $2 a month.
Can customers save items without creating an account?
With most apps on this list, yes. Swym Wishlist Plus, Joy Wishlist, Growave, Wishlist Hero, Swish, SE Wishlist Engine, Mst: Wishlist Prime and Wishlist Guru support guest wishlists, and Wishlist ‑ Wishify adds them on its $5.99/month Professional plan. With its optional email capture prompt turned on, Joy Wishlist can also email guests a link to restore their list on another device.
Which wishlist apps send price-drop and back-in-stock alerts?
Swym Wishlist Plus includes them from its $29.99/month Starter plan, Wishlist Guru from its $12.99/month Pro plan and SE Wishlist Engine from its $14.99/month Advanced plan. Wishlist Hero sends low-stock and on-sale reminders from $4/month, and Growave adds back-in-stock wishlist emails on its $199/month Growth plan. Mst: Wishlist Prime lists price-drop and back-in-stock alert flows on its single $2/month plan, run through Klaviyo or PushOwl/Brevo. Swish sends these events to Klaviyo, where you build the emails, and Joy Wishlist lets you export wishlist customers as a CSV for campaigns in your email tool.
Will a wishlist app slow down my store?
Any app that adds code to your storefront can affect speed, so test your product and collection pages before and after you install one. The Built for Shopify badge is a useful filter, because Shopify awards it to apps that meet its highest standards for performance, design and integration. Swym Wishlist Plus, Joy Wishlist, Growave, Swish, SE Wishlist Engine and Wishlist ‑ Wishify have it.
What is the difference between a wishlist and a loyalty program?
A wishlist records what a shopper wants but isn't ready to buy yet, so you can remind them later. A loyalty program gives shoppers a reason to come back, with points, rewards or VIP tiers. The two work well together: Growave bundles both in one app, and Joy Wishlist is built by the same team as the Joy Loyalty app.
